Mission of Samaritan's Purse: Operation Christmas Child

“Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”

~ Mark 10:14, ESV

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

This year is a little different for Grace Church!  Assembled shoeboxes are located at the front of the church.  Please take one, or more, and fill with the suggested gifts that are located on the sheet in the box. Also, be sure to fill out the age nd gender label so that your box can get to the proper child.

All shoeboxes are due back at Grace by Thursday, October 29, where  we will meet at Acts 2:42 and pray over the boxes that will be sent to children around the world who may receive the only reference to Jesus they will ever know.

Please see the gift ideas and monthly packing suggestions below to help you shop and get ready for next year's event!

We have started receiving donations for gifts for Shoebox Day. If getting out to shop is too difficult, Samaritan's Purse has created an online solution. Operation Christmas Child has an Amazon storefront with gift suggestions.
