Sunday School

SUNDAY SCHOOL - 11:15-Noon
Sunday School classes have now ended. They will start up again in the fall on October 4th, 2026.
The Adult Sunday School class meets in the Coffee Room @ 11:15 following the worship service.
Middle (7th-8th) and high school students meet upstairs in the conference room and are studying the Gospel of John with teachers Dan McKay and Pastor David Johnson.
Children (Preschool-6th) meet downstairs for their classes. Our youngest children through kindergarten will be taught by Kathy Borsari in our Nursery Room. In our lower fellowshiop hall, Margaret and Mark Grant will be teaching our 1st-3rd graders. Tricia Johnson and Judy Updegraff will be teaching our 4th-6th graders.
Our Sunday School program for children (Preschool-6th) is called, DiscipleLand (www.discipleland.com). Our heart's desire is that our children will "hide God's Word in their hearts". The Scripture tells us that if we, "train up a child when they are young (to know and trust the gospel of Christ) when they are old they will not depart from it." We seek to come alongside parents to nurture life-long, Christ-following disciples.
On Sunday, May 3rd, we celebrated another year of disciple-making at Grace.
"All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” Isaiah 54:13
I thought of the word, koinonia, this afternoon as we gathered together after Sunday School. Koinonia is a Greek word that means fellowship, participation, community, sharing in common. What do we share in common? It is our new life in Christ. Koinonia was very important to the first century church and it is very important to our church!
Children's Church uses Bible songs and videos from Seeds Family Worship! They are Scripture word-for-word set to music.
